Juliana is a Yoga Alliance qualified yoga teacher and has trained with the British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Campus, Triyoga, and the Independent Yoga Network.
In class, Juliana’s slow, mindful flows and fluid hatha yoga practices offer a certain radiance and fluidity while encouraging exploration of functional movement and therapeutic applications of yoga to help nourish body, mind, spirit and support an overall balanced sense of wellbeing accessible to all.
Juliana’s classes are suitable for all levels of experience, offering a “person not pose” approach, and work to encourage awareness in movement and stillness. This provides students with the freedom to work at their own pace, in their own bodies, to create space, fluidity, strength and balance that is unique to them and their needs. This aims to help students develop positive habits to take off the mat through the growth of self-awareness, self-expression and greater self-care which can facilitate them to reconnect, rediscover and re-embody their bodies, coming back home to themselves.
Juliana is dedicated to continuously learning from some of the world’s most experienced teachers including Doug Keller and Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, with keen interest in the therapeutic applications of yoga, currently furthering this knowledge at the Institute of Yoga Therapy in Amsterdam qualifying as an IAYT certified yoga therapist in late 2020.
